NOTE FROM MIKE
Today we are going to do a little baseline testing. The 6,000 meter rowing test is brutal training piece, but will highlight your weaknesses which you can address going forward. The key to this piece is negative splitting it, which means you will start a bit slower than your goal pace and build speed through the piece. Keep it efficient, keep it effective. Put down a piece to be proud of that is indicative of your fitness. This is going to test you mentally perhaps more than it will physically.
